NEW YORK (Sept. 7, 2021) – Ryan, a leading global tax services and software provider, has announced that Glenn C. McCoy, Jr. recently rejoined the Firm as Principal in Client Services, based in the New York City office. Mr. McCoy will be responsible for providing multijurisdictional tax services to clients in a variety of industries, leveraging each of the Firm’s major tax practice areas, with particular emphasis on state income and franchise tax services. Mr. McCoy previously worked at Ryan as a Principal and Practice Leader in the State Income and Franchise Tax practice.

Prior to joining Ryan, Mr. McCoy was a Director of State and Local Tax at a national accounting firm, where he was part of the income and incentives practice, focusing on multistate tax planning, controversy, and transactional analysis. He also served as National Partner in Charge of the State and Local Tax practice at a national accounting firm in New York.
Mr. McCoy is a frequent lecturer on various state and local tax topics for many symposia and organizations. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from The University of Oklahoma College of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University.
